mpgedit 0.72 beta3 released (4/15/2006). This release fixes an ocassional crash in xmpgedit when adjusting the volume after playback has stopped. xmpgedit playto start time is fixed, which would play beyond the specified edit time in some circumstances. Added the command "Copy start time" to the xmpgedit edit menu. mpgedit playback and editing with the -I option is fixed, which would frequently repeat up to a second of material at the start of the edit. For more details previous releases, see the Applications Downloads change log.
Note 1: The Linux RedHat 7+ RPM packages have been installed and run successfully on a RedHat 7.3 and a Fedora Core 2 system. Note 2: You may encounter MIME type trouble when downloading the RPM packages. If so, use "Right click->Save Link As..." instead of just clicking on the download link itself. Note 3: The Linux .exe installation packages are self-extracting executable tar files. Please read the Installation page for more details. Note 4: xmpgedit is implemented using GTK+ 2.0. On Windows, the GTK library is installed by the xmpgedit Windows Installer package. Download of the GTK+ v2.2.1 runtime for windows package is no longer needed, unless the Windows binary ZIP file is used. This is no longer recommended, unless you know what you are doing. Note 5: xmpgedit is implemented using GTK+ 2.0, which depends on X Windows. This disk image will start X windows if it is not running, and will start a window manager (Aqua or TWM) if one is not already running. If you do not have X Windows installed, you cannot use XMPGEDIT.
